A great screenshot can be just as memorable as a great clip. Whether it is a perfect skybox, a tense standoff, or your hard-earned loadout, here is how to capture crisp, high-resolution game screenshots that actually look stunning.

Native 4K vs Downsampling

The simplest way to get a 4K screenshot is to play at a 4K resolution on a 4K display and capture the frame. But you do not need a 4K monitor to get a 4K image.

Downsampling lets you render the game at a higher resolution than your display, then scale it down. The result is a sharper, cleaner image with smoother edges.

• NVIDIA DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution): Enable it in the NVIDIA control panel, then pick a higher resolution inside the game.
